Friday Wayah Road

Loads of curves, plenty of elevation change, and none of the hype. The Wayah Road Loop features one of our favorite and obscure roads, Wayah Road. We'll depart Fontana Village via the Hellbender and head toward Bryson City, on Highway 28 (a fun, curvy road), continuing on to Franklin. We'll stop for lunch in Franklin and then continue on to Wayah Road, nearly 30 miles of secluded twists and turns. After taking on Wayah, we'll head north along the scenic and curvy highway 74, and then head back to Fontana Village.
