Saturday Destination drive to Bryson City

This is a scenic drive through the mountains of North Carolina to Bryson City. After leaving Fontana Village, our first stop will be the Stecoah Valley Cultural Arts Center, a gallery with Appalachian artisan crafts and fine art. From Stecoah we will head to Bryson City to enjoy lunch as a group at the Cork & Bean Bistro. Then you will be free to explore Bryson City on your own for a while before we gather to return. There are several shops that can be explored as well as the Swain County Heritage Museum and Visitors Center For those interested, we’ll stop at the Yellow Branch Farm & Pottery on our way back to Fontana.

This drive is approximately 90 miles, is planned for a 5 hour duration (2 hours of driving) and departs Saturday Morning.
